2023 Kingdom Ride Breaking the Chains of Addiction Benefit Ride for Miracle Lake Christian Training Center
Miracle Lake is a Christian Training Center located in Etowah, TN that provides Christian training to men who need help recovering from the challenges of addictions to drugs and alcohol, incarceration, and criminal behaviors. Our approach is biblical and simple. The message of Jesus Christ and His teaching provides the way for life to be made new. Understanding what God wants from us and for us, gives a man purpose. When God is pleased by a man’s ways, He will guide and deliver that man into a new and better life.
As you may (or may not) know, Miracle Lake exists to partner with students and their families to provide a Christian training environment where men learn to walk in Jesus’ footsteps and find freedom from addictions and criminal mindedness. For over 42 years in operation, The Lord Jesus has used Miracle Lake to help over 2,400 men get on the right track toward a life pleasing to God.
Miracle Lake has been blessed by God to continue to bear most of the financial burden of our training. The student/sponsor is asked to pay roughly only half of the cost of the 12-week residential program. Feeding, housing and student training costs continue to rise, however our student fee remains among the lowest in the nation.
This is only possible with the Lord’s blessing through donors such as you.
The Miracle Lake Scholarship Fund exists to help students who cannot otherwise afford their portion for training. ALL proceeds from this event go to the Miracle Lake Scholarship Fund to directly provide help for less fortunate students and families.
While in training, men learn to renew their minds by hearing and applying the lessons learned directly from the bible in an easy-to-understand approach. Men learn who Jesus is, how much He loves them, and the purpose He has for each of them. Students learn to maintain scheduled devotions, work, Bible classes and personal time. This directly impacts their lives and those around them. It is the basis of a productive style of Christian living once they return home. Broken lives are changed! Men begin to desire to bless the Lord and His world with their new talents and personal progress. Men go from the darkness of shame into the light of living a clean life before God and man, and they become GLAD TO SHARE WHO DID THIS FOR THEM… THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!
